About Learn To Fly Author: Howard Forder
Howard Forder is a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) based in Toronto, Canada. Howard is also a certified pilot for recreational purposes. He regularly rents Cessnas from Buttonville's Toronto Airways or from Island Air at Toronto City Centre airport.

As a corporate trainer and pilot, it was only natural for Howard to want to share his enthusiasm for his love of flying. He believes that many people would love to fly but are discouraged by the cost of doing so. Howard regularly conducts night school courses on flying and offers this correspondence version over the web. He offers flight simulation software and accessories for sale through his registered corporation Forder Technical Services Inc. only as a convenience to students purchasing a training package.
Flight Training
Howard started his flight training in early 1990 from Oshawa airport. He then put it on hold for many years before picking it up again at Island Air at Toronto City Centre Airport in 1996. In February 1998, Howard conducted his flight test over the snowy fields of Claremont and has loved it ever since. Howard is also an active COPA (Canadian Owners and Pilots Association) member.
Returning students are welcome to ask Howard to take them on a flight using the same techniques, airports and practice areas they came to love in previous courses.
