Before tomorrow’s lesson on the MSFSofficial twitch channel with Jayne, we need to understand why we do this procedure on the ground called “The Run-Up” Join me Tuesday, December 15th at 5pm Eastern time for an hour or so and join in the chat session and lesson as we present why and how to do a successful runup before we fly. You can have a touchscreen AND a physical knob to control your instruments On Thursday, November 12th, 2100 Zulu, Howard steps us through the installation and configuration of a touchscreen to the cockpit. He will install Air Manager and then add the USB “Knobster” control to manage it all. Siminnovations Knobster does it all. As a second topic on Thursday, Howard will finish the configuration of his firewall and get the shared cockpit functionality working. Then test it for the first time with each of you. You can see where he is heading with this one. Many of you have requested a discord channel so we can all be “on the same frequency” at an airport in multiplayer, then use the shared cockpit when helping each other out with flying or flying lessons. Come Group Fly with US in Rome, Italy That’s right, Howard is flying and Elaine is the tour guide as we fly out of Fiumicino airport (LIRF) (Leonardo Da Vinci airport) in Rome, Italy and tour the surrounding hills, then straight into the monuments that tourists flock to see. Along the way there are a couple of landing challenges for those who think they can do it. Wednesday, November 11th, 2020 at 4pm Eastern, 2100 Zulu and we expect hundreds of visitors watching the stream and 50 to 100 planes in the group flying together. Awesome! You won’t want to miss the final landing challenge and group fly of all the planes that make it at St. Peter’s square in the Vatican, just for fun. What a memory this will make.
